There is a New Orleans blog written by a Facebook "friend" of mine. His name is Lance Vargas and he is an awesome person, very personable and excellent when it comes to describing what it's like to be an artist around Jackson Square.

"French Quarter Artists," now there's a subject near and dear to my heart, (Dad sold some of his stuff back in the late 30s-early 40s and then went off to war.) I love those guys and gals. You can get a great bargain and an original piece of art that no one else would have.

OMG, I am so hooked on that blog now. I've been over there reading for hours.
Varg is a great artist/blogger and person. I have several pieces of his art and love it!
