Windows Wednesday

Somewhere near the Quarter, taken in late 2011. I love how these two windows aren't aligned with each other. Much like New Orleans versus the rest of the country. To be beautiful and unique is the way to go! Stay cool!

Windows Wednesday

It's been a while since I've done a Windows Wednesday post. The reasons for missing my weekly post range from Hurricane Isaac, hospitalization, sick/dying cat, no electricity for a week, sick dog, etc.

But I'm back and have windows to show!

This was taken from the parking garage at the Westin Hotel at the foot of Canal Street

Taken from the same spot, a nice shot of the edge of the French Quarter

Portals I've loved

I like walking around with my camera, ready to snap a picture of something that moves me in some way. Today I put together a slide show of photographs taken in New Orleans and surrounding areas of doors and windows and alleyways that have caught my eye.
One of my new years resolutions is to mark my pictures with more specific locations than "French Quarter". I hope you enjoy looking at this slideshow as I had creating it.

New Orleans' Beauty

The historic French Quarter balconies live together with the modern day skyscrapers in New Orleans. I love this city.
