Update 9/23/2013: Hackers release phone number and address of this scuzzbucket
2) He says he's dropping the price of the drug.
This is what a conniving, evil little son of a bitch looks like
Martin Shkreli is a Albanian American hedge fund manager and entrepreneur, specializing in healthcare businesses and is a co-founder of MSMB Capital Management, of Retrophin, and the founder of Turing Pharmaceuticals .
The former hedge fund manager purchased the rights to a drug that's been used for 62 years to treat parasitic infections, and hiked the price from around $13.50 per tablet to $750 per tablet.
The drug is called Daraprim ,and it is used primarily to treat infants and people who have weakened immune systems — most notably those who have AIDS. It's among the most common treatments for life-threatening parasitic infections.
Shkreli tweeted "Every time a drug goes generic I grieve. Let us not mourn the dearly departed, instead celebrate the profits and new assets it brought us"
Shkreli oversaw Retrophin until last fall, Retrophin alleges that he created the biotech and took it public solely to provide stock to MSMB investors when the hedge fund became insolvent.

Cruelty to those Suffering
I was thinking of going to go back to "Scuzzbucket of the Week" on this one.
But I was unsure if I could find a scuzzbucket every 7 days. What a silly thing to worry about. With an upcoming election year and the wackos out there hating our President, lunacy in the Mid East, that crazy woman in Kentucky, I'd have a treasure trove! I bet I could do a "Scuzzbucket of the Day" lately.
Anyway, I caught this video while checking out the daily news today.
I don't know where Hungary's leaders' minds are, but I'm not liking them too much lately. I'm feeling naive when it comes to what they're doing, I suppose. But it doesn't make me feel good about it.

Scuzzbucket of the Month
That would be Joe Rickey Hundley, 60, who is no longer employed by AGC Aerospace and Defense, Composites Group. in Oklahoma

Hundley was on a flight from Minneapolis-to-Atlanta, set to land at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on February. 8. He was sitting next to Jessica Bennett and her 19-month-old son, who began crying as the plane started to descend.
"Jonah starts crying because he's feeling the pressure in his ears," Bennett told ABC News.
Bennett, was seated alongside Hundley, told FBI agents that she tried to get her son to stop crying when Hundley "told her to shut that ['N word'] baby up."
"I said, 'What did you just say?'" Bennett said. "And he was so drunk that he fell onto my face, and his mouth moved over to my ear and he said it, just directly into my ear."
The 33-year-old mother then says Hundley slapped her son in the face.
"When I had looked at Jonah's face, he had, his eye was swollen…and it was bleeding," Bennett said. "I was just scared to death."
Here is a video of the story from abc news:

Scuzzbuckets of the Month
Miami-Dade Metrorail security guards beat and arrested photographers for taking pictures of a historical public building.
We enjoy photographing architecture wherever we go. Since when did it become against the law? What's going on here?
According to the story in the above link:
Photographer Carols Miller and his friend were passing time while waiting for a Metrorail by taking photos of the Dade County Courthouse, which was built during the Roaring 20s and is considered to be a stunning piece of architecture.
"Then considered one of the more monumental structures in Florida, Dade County's 27-story Neoclassical-style courthouse was begun in 1925," says this historical account of the structure.
Suddenly, a voice blared over a loudspeaker ordering them to cease and desist with the photographs. The pair ignored the order, but shortly thereafter a 50 State security guard came onto the platform and confronted them.
Miller sensed that his civil rights were about to be violated once more, he asked his companion to begin videotaping the exchange. Here's the video

Scuzzbucket headed for jail

Mark St. Pierre, a former technology vendor for the city of New Orleans, allegedly took at least four wireless radio devices that were donated to help the city in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and sold them for profit to the city of Lafayette in 2005.
That's just the tip of this scuzzbucket's iceberg. To read all about the nasty, sneaky, outright blatant crimes against the citizens of New Orleans, read this post at American Zombie's blog. May he someday suffer long and hard for his greed and douchebaggery.
Here's more from today's testimony (5/17/2011). If what was posted on American Zombie didn't piss you off, this certainly will.

Scuzzbucket of the week 2
It's been a busy week for animal abusers. Today's scuzzbucket hails from the great state of New Jersey. This 27 year old woman was charged Tuesday with "torture and torment of a living creature."
Kisha Curtis of Newark, New Jersey.
The 1-year-old pit bull, hailed by animal care workers as a "miracle dog," was discovered March 16 by maintenance workers inside a garbage chute at the Garden Spires apartment building -- a 550-unit complex in Newark notorious for drug trade and other crimes.
The dog was found so brutalized his bones protruded from his fur and he had no body temperature. Animal care workers with the Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park called it one of the worst cases of cruelty they've ever seen.

Sweet little Kisha starved the dog, put his nearly lifeless and emaciated body in a plastic garbage bag, then threw him down the garbage chute in a Newark apartment building.
Curtis faces 18 months in jail or a $3,000 fine if convicted
Here is a link to a Facebook page setup for the dog - named Patrick - for more information on how he is faring.
There's a special place in hell for people like Kisha.

Scuzzbucket (Wacko) of the Week

Georgia State Representative Bobby Franklin
This one really should be locked up in a padded room.
Bobby Franklin — who last year proposed making rape and domestic violence "victims" into "accusers" — has introduced a 10-page bill that would criminalize miscarriages and make abortion in Georgia completely illegal. Both miscarriages and abortions would be potentially punishable by death: any "prenatal murder" in the words of the bill, including "human involvement" in a miscarriage, would be a felony and carry a penalty of life in prison or death. Basically, it's everything an "pro-life" activist could want aside from making all women who've had abortions wear big red "A"s on their chests.
Excerpt of an article from Mother Jones dot com.
This is truely insane, but hey, who am I to judge? Bobby's got it all figgered out.

Scuzzbucket of the Week
Harvey Almorn Updyke Jr, redneck extrodinaire.
Harvey A. Updyke Jr., 62, of Dadeville, Ala., was arrested in connection with the poisoning of iconic oak trees at Toomer's Corner near Auburn University. The trees, which are 130 years old, are Auburn icons. They are not expected to survive the application of a powerful herbicide called Spike 80DF. Police tracked Updyke after he called a sports talk radio show and claimed to have poisoned the trees. Updyke is also said to have placed a call to a turf management professor at Auburn University.

Auburn discovered the poisoning after taking soil samples on January 28, a day after a man called a syndicated radio show based in Birmingham saying he had used the herbicide on the trees.
During that radio show, Harvey boasted to host Paul Finebaum as follows:
"The weekend after the Iron Bowl, I went to Auburn, Ala., because I live 30 miles away, and I poisoned the Toomer's trees,", saying he was at the Iron Bowl.
Calling himself "Al from Dadeville," he said he used Spike 80DF, also known as tebuthiuron, and the trees "definitely will die." The caller signed off with, "Roll Damn Tide."
From an espn sports blog: If there's any real justice in the SEC, Updyke will spend his time in prison watching replays of last season's Iron Bowl, in which his beloved Crimson Tide blew a 24-0 lead in a 28-27 loss to Auburn. Or, even worse, he'll be required to watch an endless marathon of the Mike DuBose era.
Harvey has kids named Bear and Crimson…of course he does.
Bond was set at $50,000. If convicted, Updyke could face one to 10 years in prison.
