As Tennessee Republican Rep. John Rose gave a speech denouncing former President Donald Trump’s historic conviction in New York last week, all eyes were on the 59-year-old congressman – but only to gaze behind him. On June 3, Rose’s six-year-old son, Guy, stole the show as he sat directly behind his father during the televised speech and made funny faces to cameras broadcasting live on C-SPAN. The hilarious moment went viral leading the congressman to address his son’s antics, posting on X, “This is what I get for telling my son Guy to smile at the camera for his little brother.”
