Just some info for the BP disaster victims in Louisiana.
Are you aware that fish for fish meal is harvested in the Gulf, pogie & croaker. They are processed in Moss Point & two companies in La.
This fish meal is used in protein supplements for humans, & feeds for chickens, hogs & cows. Because they use the whole fish & liver in the process, it might be a PAH hazard. Pregnant women & children should avoid seafood from that area.
People and processors should be compensated for future losses of income.
